Better late than never? Sorry about the lack of homework post last night! I'll post it anyways to keep our running record complete. If ever there's no homework post you can always check Mr. Kasch's blog as well.

• Be working on your Historian's Workshop at home. We've had time in class to research the naval terms and begin the rough draft of your ship drawing. The rest should be completed at home before Friday.

• 2nd hour: (Only if you did not come to class prepared with you spelling homework) write a 3-5 sentence paragraph about why it's important to come to class prepared with homework.

Math

• 1st hour: text pages 25-26 evens only
• 2nd hour: Rounding whole numbers and decimals handout 39-40

No Homework for Science and Social Studies tonight.

• Spelling: It's up to you to make your spelling form tonight. -Or- you can print it out here. Either way, you must have these six components for each spelling word

6. Use in a sentence

• Prefix/Suffix worksheet- Both sides

2nd hour:

• Spelling- see 1st hour
• Prefix/Suffix worksheet- Just the prefix side.

Language Arts: 

• 1st and 2nd hour

1st person/ 3rd person point of view worksheet.

1st person: A point of view in which "I" or "we" serve as the narrarator.
3rd person: A point of view in which pronouns such as "he" "she" or "they" are referred to by an outside narrarator.

* Don't forget the sentences on the back

Write a paragraph from the first person as Julio de la Vega Medina. (the main character in "I Sailed with Columbus")
